The authors also provide useful views on counseling women about teratogenic risks and a list of drugs that can be used safely during pregnancy.
Promoting understanding of risks associated with fetal exposures with teratogens and addressing risks engendered by limited information or misinformation can prevent unnecessary abortions or avoid unnecessary therapies.
